The past year may have had its own set of challenges. But, in pain there is joy, in the darkness there is light, in the crushing there is fragrance. Looking back, we can understand why He placed us in the home that He did; why He brought certain people into and out of our lives; why He allowed certain circumstances into our lives; why He permitted difficult situations and painful moments. At that very moment when we go through life, we may not understand but looking back I have a lot of clarity about the ways that God led me through the past year.
Looking ahead, though, is not always so clear. We may feel lost and not sure of our path ahead of us. As we step into the new year lets stop and reflect on all the wonderful things that God has done for us and look beyond in courage and confidence for a wonderful year ahead in Him.
